What happens if my computer arrives damaged?

If your computer arrives damaged, we will pay for the return shipping and send you a new one.

What if my laptop breaks?

Tech Away offers a 5-year warranty that covers all technical and software issues. If you are in need of a repair/replacement for your current custom laptop, please contact one of our product service representatives (1-800-888-8888) to file a claim.

How do I decide what computer is best for my needs?

Tech Away offers a wide variety of computer options to fit each person’s individual needs. To see product comparisons please refer to our website or contact one of our tech specialists (1-800-999-9999) for a more personalized buying experience.

Do you ship outside the US?

We ship anywhere in the world however a premium will be charged if outside of the continental United States.

How long does building my computer take?

Building your computer will take one and two business weeks.

Where are your products made?

All of our custom computers are built and shipped from our home office in High Point, NC. All parts are made here in the USA.

How can I have my custom laptop repaired?

In the case of damage to your custom laptop, physical or technical, you may reach out to one of our product service specialists (1-800-888-8888) for assistance. After your claim is opened, we will mail you a box and shipping label for you to send us your laptop for repair. Most custom laptops will be repaired and shipped back to you within 14 business days.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping can take anywhere between 2 days and 10 days. Our Priority shipping ($50) will only take 2 business days and standard shipping (free) can take 5 to 10 business days, depending on your location.

What happens If my computer breaks after the warranty has expired?

If any of your products break after the warranty has expired, you can simply replace It and have It designed In a new way or the existing way by logging Into your account history and repurchasing the Item.

How do I check on my Order Status?

Log Into your account, In the menu select "my orders" this will take you to all of your orders. Click on the order that you wish to track and you will be redirected to the tracking page.

How do I cancel my order?

There are 2 ways that you are able to cancel your order, the first Is by logging Into your account and checking your order, below tracking your order there Is an option for you to cancel. The second option Is to call our customer support and provide them with your order number and they can cancel It for you.

What is the return process?

Log Into your account, In the menu select "my account", then click "returns". This will redirect you to a page where you will select the product that you wish to return, once this page has been submitted we will mail you return materials and an Instruction page for the remaining steps.
